Girish Kulkarni carries out experimental and theoretical research in the fields of quantum optics and quantum information with a focus on quantum entanglement. He completed his undergraduate studies in electrical engineering from VNIT, Nagpur, masters studies in physics from TIFR, Mumbai, and his doctoral studies working with Prof. Anand Jha at IIT Kanpur in India. Currently, Girish is working as a postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Robert Boyd at the University of Ottawa.
