Maryam Abbasi has received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. Currently, she is working on her PhD studies under Prof. Robert Boyd’s supervision in the CERC group at the University of Ottawa. Her research areas are nanophotonics, metamaterials, and nonlinear optics.
